A little library for things that move.

I built Dots so particles could do more than float in the background. They can become letters, tumble into a pile, or turn into a real button. The ones on this page are all the same swarm.

A bit about me.

I’m Hamza. I care about the whole thing: how a product works, how it looks, and how it feels in someone’s hands.

I’m currently a software engineer at Ribbon.ai, building AI tools that make recruiting better for recruiters. Previously, I built creator tools at Stan. Alongside that work, I’m building Dots, Melo, and my own apps across web, macOS, and iOS.

  1. 2020–2024

    McMaster University

    Software Engineering. Built side projects between problem sets and started shipping things people actually used.

  2. 2024–2026

    Stan

    Engineer working on creator tooling. Owned features end-to-end across the stack.

  3. 2026–

    Independent products

    Building Dots, Melo, and a collection of tools that make everyday work feel better.

    Ribbon.ai

    Software engineer building AI tools that make recruiting better for recruiters — helping with candidate interviews, outreach, and everyday hiring workflows.

A few things I care about

I start with something I wish were easier, then build the smallest tool that helps. The playful bits should make it nicer to use.
